Visitor Visas
A visitor visa is for persons who wish to visit Australia for tourism or other recreational activities including visiting family and friends.
Tourist (subclass 676) visa

Please send all your documents by registered mail to the Embassy. Alternatively, if you choose to lodge your application in person you are required to make an appointment. To make an appointment, please call the Embassy on +385 1 4891 209 between 9 and 11am Monday - Friday, or e-mail us at Enquiries-Zagreb@dfat.gov.au.

Sponsored visitor visa:
From 02 April 2005 all applications for Sponsored visitor visas can only be lodged in Australia! Please click on the links below to find out more information about the procedure, forms and instructions.

Processing times
The current average processing time for a visitor visa is 5 weeks provided all relevant documentation has been lodged. However, in order to ensure that you meet your travel commitments, please lodge your application for a visitor visa at least 4 months prior to expected date of travel.
The Department of Immigration and Citizenship does not recommend purchase of airline tickets until your visa application has been decided.
Electronic Travel Authority
Passport holders from certain countries can apply for an ETA.

eVisitor
Passport holders from certain countries can apply for an eVisitor to visit Australia as a tourist.

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship is advising people to ignore a hoax email asking clients for an eVisitor application fee. There is no charge for e-visitor visas. If you receive an email asking for an application fee, please do not respond to it. If you do receive such an email, please forward it to [insert your mailbox contact details] to assist us in investigations.
