Student Visas

The Overseas Student Program (OSP) allows people who are not Australian cititzens or Australian permanent residents to study in Australia.

If you would like to study under this program, you must obtain a student visa before you can commence a course of study in Australia.

How to pay the fee

Please send your documents by registered mail to the Embassy. Alternatively, if you would like to lodge your application in person, you are required to have an appointment. To make an appointment, please contact the Embassy on +385 1 4891 209 between 9 and 11am from Monday through Friday, or e-mail us at Enquiries-Zagreb@dfat.gov.au.

The average processing time for a student visa is 5 weeks provided all relevant documentation has been lodged. However, in order to ensure that you meet your travel commitments, please lodge your application for a student visa at least 4 months prior to expected date of travel.
The Department of Immigration and Citizenship does not recommend purchase of airline tickets until your visa application has been decided.
