Applications for Migration to Australia

The following types of migration are available:

Partner migration - Partner migration is for legally married partners, de facto partners and interdependent partners of Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens which allows them to enter and/or to remain permanently in Australia.

To lodge an application under the partner category (which includes fiancé, spouse/de facto and interdependent), you need to obtain the relevant forms, pay the processing fee and lodge the necessary documents. For further information, please click below.

Croatian citizens can lodge their Partner Migration applications at the Australian Embassy Zagreb or the Australian Embassy Berlin. Applications received from citizens of Croatia at the Australian Embassy Zagreb will be forwarded to the Australian Embassy in Berlin for further processing.

Citizens of Bosnia & Herzegovina can lodge their applications at the Australian Embassy Zagreb or Australian Embassy Vienna. Applications received from citizens of Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Australian Embassy Zagreb will be forwarded to the Australian Embassy in Vienna for further processing.

Child migration - Child migration allows for Australian citizens or permanent residents to sponsor their dependent child, adopted child or orphan relative.

Parent migration - Parents may be able to migrate to Australia if they have a child in Australia who is an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
