The Department of Immigration and Citizenship is advising people to ignore a hoax email asking clients for an eVisitor application fee. There is no charge for e-visitor visas. If you receive an email asking for an application fee, please do not respond to it. If you do receive such an email, please forward it to [insert your mailbox contact details] to assist us in investigations.
Fee changes
Please note that as of 1 July 2009, fees and charges will increase in accordance with the decision made by the Australian Government.

World Masters Games 2009, Sydney, 1018 October 2009

Important - new eVisitor service from 27 October 2008
From 27 October 2008 eligible passport holders from the EU and other European ETA eligible countries will be able to apply for an eVisitor. eVisitor is for travellers seeking to visit Australia for business or tourism purposes for up to three months.
Changes to student visas
From 26 April 2008 all student visas will be granted with work rights attached. As a result, most student visa holders will no longer need to apply separately in Australia for permission to work. For further information, please refer to Student Visas.
